The tour departs at 8 a.m. when your driver picks you up from your Riad in Marrakech. Leave the town and cross the high Tichka pass (2160m).
Cross the valleys to reach Dades, turn to enter the gorges. enjoy the scenery of mother nature before heading to your hotel in the gorges where you will spend the night.
Leave the Dades Gorges and head to Tinghir, another turn to explore the Todra Gorges, a stunning place where climbers defy gravity on the cliffs.
Return to Tinghir and continue the road through the southern villages to Touroug, where you will have lunch then straight towards Merzouga via Erfoud and Rissani.
Once in Merzouga, leave your luggage and take the camels to reach the camp just in time to watch the desert sunset. Spend the night in the camp and enjoy the music, food and atmosphere.
For this Merzouga Desert Tour, day 3 is a long drive from Merzouga to Marrakech, approximately 560 km of driving with a few stops to stretch your legs and maybe have a cup of coffee.
